Bigmama Korean Restaurant was set up by former caretaker and tutor, Candy Namgung Ji Young. After many years of cooking for Korean students studying in Singapore, she decided to set up a Korean restaurant in 2012, serving authentic, yet creative, Korean food cooked to suit Singaporean tastebuds.
We serve homestyle dishes in BIGMAMA, made with new and innovative sauces and marinades inspired by Candy’s mother’s own cooking recipes.
Here at BIGMAMA, we pride ourselves in serving you authentic Korean homestyle food that is both healthy, and a delight to your tastebuds. Using creative cooking methods, coupled with a strict no-MSG policy, the dishes you taste when you come to Bigmama, are assured to be of the highest quality.
Visit BIGMAMA at Tiong Bahru and try out our specialities, Dakgalbi – pan-fried chicken, and Suyuk – steamed pork belly. If you’re craving for Korean BBQ, visit BIGMAMA BBQ & Beer at Biopolis, and try our BBQ and oven roasted meat, ready cooked for you in our kitchen.

ABOUT BINCHO
Inspired by a yakitori-ya (traditional small grilling stalls) in Osaka, Bincho is an all-in-one unique dining concept by Unlisted Collection tying Singapore’s past with the present.
Transformed from a 70-year old traditional kopitiam (coffee shop), highlights from Bincho include 1) the old school mee pok stall, the classic coffee & toast, evergreen marble tables, beloved rickety wooden chairs; 2) a modern open-concept yakitori bar with hues of copper headed by the affable Chef Asai Masashi; and 3) a bar featuring progressive and playful Japanese-inspired cocktails as well as an extensive Japanese whisky, sake and shochu list.
An experience like no other, Bincho allows you to be playful, escape and enjoy the very best of Japanese produce, delivered by the skilled hands of Chef Asai. You will always be warmly welcomed at Bincho, the hidden little gem of Singapore.
